In the 20th century we were expected to be two people, professional self and personal self, and we were told that we needed to balance our life and our work. In the 21st century, we each want to show up as whole people in life. We don't need to balance or integrate or blend. We have a life and it we choose how we want to live and work. We are no longer defined by what we do for a living but how fully we experience a purpose driven life.
