The Big Ride 2014 is an event organised to celebrate The Western Link; a ?1bn project that will help to transfer renewable energy from Scotland to homes and businesses in Wales and England. The Big Ride team will cycle a route that mirrors the cable link to celebrate the connection between the countries, the communities along the route and the chosen charities Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
