As of Jan. 2018 the Atlanta Volunteers has over 7,500 members and are a 501 c 3 . They very seldom engage in fund raising and instead operate as a flash mob putting on about 3 random community events each month. The major project they are working on is #theabilityrevolution (and website of the same name) which finds employment for disabled populations.

Altruistic Capitalism functions similar to a small business that is dedicated to caring for its employees. It is a care solution for just "Your Loved Ones." Similar to a small business only providing profit for the owners, it provides support for the owners and employees of the business, and not for the general public. Altruistic Capitalism replaces government programs and nonprofits, for just a few people at a time, connected to a business, with an alternative that relies on basic conservative values. Altruistic Capitalism is described in detail in the book The Ability Revolution and on the web site of the same name.

theabilityrevolution also refers to using a for profit corporation instead of a nonprofit to support populations that are disabled. Operating a business has far fewer restrictions then operating a nonprofit and it can have a much greater benefit to populations that are disabled.

Employment for adults with disabilities by using a team approach where two or more disabled adults form a team to obtain full function. The ability team approach is described in the book "The Ability Revolution," and is found on a web site with the same name. The primary focus of the Ability Revolution is to turn a 3 bedroom home into a place of employment called a "Working Group Home", where two disabled adults form a team that becomes state recognized as a Certified Nursing Assistant and then bills medicaid or medicare to provide assisted living services to an elderly or infirm person also living in the house. Eliminating commutes and providing 24/7 care are the two main advantages, but the tax savings of having the Ability Team move from being medicaid reciepients to being tax paying citizens is immense.
