Twitter is actively collaborating with a number of companies to expand its operations and boost sales on its advertisement products.
On February 5, 2013, the social micro-blogging company said that it will be buying Bluefin Labs.
Bluefin Labs is a social analytics company that acquires information about online conversations revolving around TV shows. The social media giant will be acquiring the social analytics company for a price tag of $100 million.
Terms and conditions of the said contract were not disclosed.
This is actually the biggest acquisition by Twitter, by far. Recently, Twitter also collaborated with Nielsen to make the Nielsen Twitter TV Rating.
