Social Media Votes And Decides On Who Is The #FaceOfMLB In 2014

From California to New York, the United States of America are packed with baseball loving cities. Within many of these cities lie century-old teams, sometimes even more than one such as in New York and Chicago. These cities are dedicated to the great American sport and have sprouted out several minor leagues within them as?baseball became more and more popular. With Major League Baseball dominating the national scene in the professional sports world, many players have turned into legends with their historic skills and accomplishments. With all these different teams comes thousands of players who wish to be the player immediately thought of when anyone references Major League Baseball. They hope to become the #FaceOfMLB, if only for a year.

The #FaceOfMLB contest gets baseball fans involved through social media, thus causing quite a big trend. The hashtag has grown much more recently too as the contest has gotten closer to a final decision. This particular use of the hashtag included two players: Adam Jones from the Baltimore Orioles and?Corey Kluber from the Cleveland Indians.
