EllenbogenArt

These are sad and frightening times indeed, but also a time for reflection and invention. Many artists, galleries and all types of art institutions have been trying new ways to connect people with art. Now is a good time to innovate and establish a strong foundation for what may be challenging times to come. For early and late-career emerging artists and the galleries that represent them, recovery may take months or years. Taking action now creates a window of opportunity for artists, for galleries and for collectors too; it also provides hope. We are ready to launch our response to the economic and health situation in which we find ourselves, ArtRESPONSE-38. PARTICIPATING ARTISTS: Lynn Averill, Christopher Curtis, Dublin Durller-Wilson, Carolina Ellenbogen, Michael D Ellenbogen, Barrack Evans, Mary Fran Lloyd, Dona Mara, Dan Mosheim, Rodrigo Nava, Harry A. Rich, John Richey, Julian Sheres, Gregory Smith, Longina Smolinski, James Vogler, Marcia Vogler, Michael Watson, Richard D. Weis, Michael L. Williams

ArtRESPONSE-38 is our response. Artists are reducing their fee by 19% and Ellenbogen Gallery is matching this reduction of its commission. There has never been a better time to buy artwork by these artists than right now. This 38% combined reduction of the cost of any artwork over $250 that was part of the “Winter Exhibition 2020” will end on May 31, 2020. We all hope that our response will encourage those of you still in a position to start building or expanding an art collection at this time, to purchase a work of art by these artists now.
