Social Media Sites Compare Grammy Favorites

The top social media sites presented the most popular artists and albums for the 2013 Grammy Awards. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram compared the top nominees for the much awaited presentation.

On Twitter

Frank Ocean was the most preferred person to win Best New Artist, garnering over 2 million followers on Twitter. Ocean is followed by Fun. and The Lumineers. As for Song of the Year, Carly Rae Jepsen?s ?Call Me Maybe? was the top favorite with close to 400 million, followed by ?We Are Young? by Fun. Psy?s ?Gangnam Style? was a special mention garnering over 1.2 billion followers.

On YouTube

As for YouTube channel subscribers, Taylor Swift leads the pack with over 973,000, followed by Ed Sheeran, Carly Rae Jepsen and Gotye, having 855,000, 707,000 and 298,000 followers respectively. For Record of the Year, ?Somebody That I Used to Know? by Gotye featuring Kimbra was the top favorite. It was played on YouTube over 372 million times. ?We Are Young? by Fun. was played more than 165 million times. The other favorites include ?Stronger? by Kelly Clarkson, ?Lonely Boy? by The Black Keys and ?Thinkin Bout You? by Frank Ocean.

On Facebook

For Album of the Year, Mumford & Sons? ?Babel? was the clear favorite on Facebook and Twitter with over 3 million Facebook followers. ?El Camino? by The Black Keys came in second with 2.7 million Facebook followers and then ?Channel Orange? by Frank Ocean with 2.1 million Twitter followers. Fourth place went to ?Some Nights? by Fun. Among the four, Frank Ocean has the most Twitter followers. Here's the infographic.
