President Obama (@BarackObama) faced off against Republican Mitt Romney (@MittRomney) with Jim Lehrer, executive director of PBS NewsHour (@NewsHour), moderating. Although the responses usually pointed to either Obama or Romney being the preferred winner, Twitter users seem to agree on the thought that Lehrer wasn?t the right person for the job. More celebrities continued tweeting after the event. The second part of the debates will air on October 11 at 9:00pm to 10:30pm EST from Danville, Kentucky and will feature contenders for the vice presidential seat: incumbent vice president Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) and congressman Paul Ryan (@PaulRyanVP). It will be moderated by ABC News chief foreign correspondent Martha Raddatz (@martharaddatz).
